Opportunity Zones

By the authority conferred by Reorganization Plan No. 4-1994, as amended, and Act No. 141-2018, known as the “Reorganization Plan Execution Act of the 2018 Department of Economic Development and Commerce,” it is it provides that the Department of Economic Development and Commerce shall have the power to formulate, adopt, amend and repeal regulations, to govern the rules of its operations and to exercise and carry out the powers and duties that by law are granted and imposed.

Pursuant to the provisions of Act No. 38-2017, as amended, known as the "Uniform Administrative Procedure Act of the Government of Puerto Rico" and Act No. 60-2019, known as the "Puerto Rico Incentive Code", the general public is notified of the intention to approve the regulations found in the public notice.
